ICED 2020 conference cancelled

The ICED 2020 conference planning committee and the ICED Board have been monitoring the developing crisis of the COVID-19 virus as it spreads across the globe. After much consideration and discussion, the ICED 2020 conference planning committee and the ICED Board regret to announce that the 2020 conference that was to be held in Zurich in June has been cancelled.

The decision was made in an environment of great uncertainty and with the aim of minimising financial loss for both delegates and the host institution as well as providing clarity and certainty for all concerned.

All registration fees will be automatically refunded. Registered participants, accepted presenters, Student Ambassadors and scholarship holders will receive further information by email.

The planning committee and the ICED Board are considering alternative options that may happen at some time in the future. Further information will follow as soon as soon as these options have been explored.

This is a huge disappointment for everyone involved, but we know that it is for the greater good.
