CAULLT cordially invites you to its 2026 Conference: Four Provocations for Leading in Learning and Teaching on Friday, 23 October 2026.

The conference will be delivered online with the option for face-to-face participation at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). Online participation is open to all and free of charge; face-to-face attendance is reserved for staff from member universities.

About the Conference

This conference addresses critical strategic questions facing leaders in higher education learning and teaching. Structured around four key provocations, the program is designed to stimulate substantive discussion and facilitate the exchange of insights on contemporary challenges and opportunities in educational leadership.

Venue

Council Chambers is located on the ground level of the Chancellery Building (C22). The main entrance is via Gate 9 from the car park; upon arrival you will see the reception desk. The building is next to the Sir John Clancy Auditorium, and the closest light rail stop is UNSW High St (L2 line).
 

Transport:

UNSW can be easily reached by public transport. To plan your trip, please use the Transport NSW Trip Planner.

The best entry points to the campus are:

  • Gates 8 or 9 from High Street
  • Gate 11 from Botany Street
  • Gate 14 from Barker Street

Visitor parking is available at:

  • Botany Street Carpark: ground floor and top level. This one is the closest to both venues, although visitor parking is quite limited. It’s located next to the AGSM Building.
  • Barker Street Carparklevel 1C and top level. This is located at Lower Campus, close to the UNSW Optometry Clinic.

Visitor parking rates at both carparks is $15.50 for 2 hours, then $4.75 per hour up to 12 hours total and can be done through the available meters (by the lifts) or through the CellOPark App upon arrival.

There is construction around Botany Street Carpark and it can get busy during peak hours as there have been changes in traffic, plus construction trucks, etc. Please keep this in mind if you are driving to the venue.
