CAULLT/ASCILITE Award for Outstanding Leadership in Digital Learning in Higher Education
The ASCILITE / CAULLT Award for Outstanding Leadership in Digital Education recognises outstanding leadership that has advanced learning, teaching and the student experience through the strategic and responsible use of digital technologies in higher education.
The award celebrates individuals and collaborative teams who have demonstrated sustained leadership in shaping institutional practice, building organisational capability and driving meaningful educational innovation. It recognises leadership that extends beyond technology implementation to influence strategy, culture, governance and educational quality across higher education.
You must be a staff member of a CAULLT member university or an ASCILITE member to submit a nomination.
Submission Date: 16 September 2026
Winners will be announced at the ASCILITE Conference 2026 (29 November – 2 December 2026)

CAULLT Awards: Celebrating Excellence in Academic Development
The CAULLT / ASCILITE award for Outstanding Leadership in Digital Learning in Higher Education recognises evidence of an individual’s innovative and effective leadership in the broad use of digital technologies to enhance teaching, learning, and overall performance in higher education.
You must be a staff member of a CAULLT member university or an ASCILITE member to submit a nomination.
Successful winners will be jointly announced by CAULLT and ASCILITE at the annual ASCILITE Conference Awards Ceremony (usually held in late November / early December).
