Rebecca Tooher's Profile

Rebecca Tooher is Director, Education Strategy and Teaching Excellence in the Division of Academic and Student Engagement. Before commencing in the role in June 2018, Rebecca was a public health academic. She has led major curriculum renewal of public health teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels. She has taught communication, leadership and health promotion and has a particular interest in experiential learning and preparing career ready graduates. Rebecca's research interests include community engagement and evidence-based practice and she has a special interest in the use of qualitative, mixed methods and deliberative approaches for eliciting public and community views about important matters of public policy.
