We offer three prestigious awards that acknowledge different aspects of excellence in academic development and educational leadership. Each award celebrates innovation, impact and the commitment to enhancing student learning experiences:
CAULLT Academic Development Award Recognising outstanding academic development practices
This award celebrates innovative approaches to academic development that demonstrate clear principles of good learning and teaching. We seek practices that are distinctive, evidence-based and show measurable impact on teaching and learning within your institution.
Who can apply: Staff from CAULLT member institutions
Key focus: Academic development practices, innovation, and impact

CAULLT/HERDSA Award for Outstanding Leadership in Research and Development
Honouring leadership in higher education research and development
Developed in partnership with HERDSA, this award recognises individuals who demonstrate innovative and effective leadership in higher education research and development across a broad range of categories that enhance teaching, learning, and student experience.
Who can apply: Staff from CAULLT member universities or members of HERDSA working in the tertiary education
Key focus: Leadership in educational research and development

CAULLT/ASCILITE Award for Outstanding Leadership in Digital Learning
Celebrating innovation in digital learning leadership
Created in collaboration with ASCILITE, this award honours individuals who demonstrate exceptional leadership in leveraging digital technologies to enhance teaching, learning, and overall performance in higher education.
Who can apply: Staff from CAULLT member universities or ASCILITE members
Key focus: Digital learning innovation and leadership
