My work in Higher Education has long targeted reward and recognition for L&T, based on evidence from multiple sources, including peer review and scholarship. Those who know me are aware of my approach to PD - simply it's about spaces to engage, converse and learn, a bucket for storing evidence, and triggers that push individuals or teams to articulate the sophisticated nature of their practice. It is my deeply considered opinion that recognition will only really be realised when we can show, with research and evidence, the complexity of L&T practices in the dynamic tertiary sector.
