The Regional Universities Conference: Student Success in Regional Australia will be held on 1 and 2 October 2020 at the University of Southern Queensland’s Toowoomba campus.

Planning is well underway for the Regional Universities Conference: Student Success at University in Regional Australia on 1 and 2 October at the University of Southern Queensland’s Toowoomba campus. Registration is open  register now  for the two-day event with the program designed to be of interest to everyone working in universities in regional Australia.

Hosted by Higher Ed Services with strong support from the Regional Universities Network (RUN) the conference is being organised with the hope that the current situation and resulting restrictions on events will no longer apply by October.

HES has announced that the keynote speaker on the first day is Dr Emily McIntosh, Director of Learning, Teaching and Student Experience, at Middlesex University in the UK and Deputy Chair (Research) of the United Kingdom Advising and Tutoring association. The program will also feature panels exploring student success, women in STEM in regional universities, research in regional Australia along with speakers who will tackle some of the most challenging topics in higher education today.
