Learning Leaders Conf: submissions

Monday 3 June 2019 9am

You have just over a month to respond to the call for papers for the 2019 Learning Leaders in Higher Education and the Higher Education Quality Network (HEQN) Conferences which will be held at the Pullman Melbourne on the Park from 3 to 5 June.

The Learning Leaders Conference is hosted by the Council of Australasian University Leaders in Learning and Teaching (CAULLT) in collaboration with Higher Ed Services (HES) while the HEQN Conference is HES’ major annual quality conference.

Both events are future focused which is reflected in the conference themes and in the call for papers.

The deadline for responding to both calls for papers is Friday 15 March. Click here for further details including how to submit.

The theme for the Learning Leaders Conference on Monday 3 June is Learning and Teaching in Higher Education: Emerging Models for the Future.  The focus of the HEQN Conference is Assessment, Integrity Review: A Sector in Transformation.

The Learning Leaders Conference invites submissions that explore new ways in which staff and students are leading learning, how the leadership of learning and teaching is changing, and what opportunities and challenges these new strategic approaches to learning and teaching leadership present. Submission guidelines are here.

The conference will be of interest to academics and professionals working in the higher education sector, accrediting bodies, Deans Councils, government, industry and students.

The HEQN Conference on 4 and 5 June invites submissions that discuss the issues and opportunities arising from the two major national higher education reviews now taking place. The Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Review and the Review of the Higher Education Provider Categories Standards could fundamentally transform the sector and impact the way that higher education is regulated in future.

The deadline for the call for papers for both events is Friday 15 March. Further information including submission guidelines for these two conferences is available here. You can also find registration details here.
