3 Senior Learning Designers (HEW 8)
Due to unprecedented growth within the Learning Transformations unit, Swinburne University is looking to recruit three full time Senior Learning Designers (HEW 8) on 3-year fixed term contracts, based at the Hawthorn campus, with attractive salary packaging that includes 17% superannuation and generous staff benefits.

We invite highly professional and experienced learning design leaders to join us in us in contributing to Swinburne’s 2025 vision to become a world class University by focusing on the transformations needed in Swinburne’s learning technologies and teaching practices to meet student needs.

 

Senior Learning Designers will be responsible for co-ordinating a learning design team to ensure the successful transformation and deployment of courses and units. They will be supervising and guiding the team to support academic staff from a designated faculty to transform faculty courses and units within a student-centred framework.

Successful candidates will need to demonstrate considerable management skills, judgement, initiative, discretion and independence while interacting with professional and academic staff. Your ability to teach and support academic teaching staff in learning design and the use of technologies for blended learning, assessment design and e-portfolio implementation is also key to success in this position.
